Microsoft has announced that a standalone Xbox One Kinect will be available starting October 7 for $150 USD, and the device comes bundled with Dance Central Spotlight.
In June, Microsoft unbundled the Xbox One and Kinect sensor, which allowed players to purchase the home console without the sensor for $400 USD. The price cut also made Xbox One more competitively priced with PlayStation 4.
The move reportedly paid off, with Xbox One sales doubling after the standalone offer went into effect. But until now, those who purchased an Xbox One without the Kinect were unable to purchase a standalone device.
