Warframe, the free-to-play, third-person co-op shooter, is coming to Xbox One later this year.
A European video game rating popped up late last year for an Xbox One version of the free-to-play shooter, but now developer Digital Extremes has confirmed that Warframe is coming to Microsoft's console via the ID@Xbox program. Warframe is currently available on PC and PlayStation 4.
“Bringing Warframe to Xbox One is a no-brainer,” said Steve Sinclair, creative director at Digital Extremes. “Our players have been asking for Warframe since the debut of the console, and with the ID@Xbox program, now we can make it happen. ... Warframe is a passion project for our team, and building it alongside our players is a reality now with digital distribution.”
