First off, I'm so sorry for the delay - I was vacationing in the mountains all weekend and had a day job to attend to when I got back.
TURN ended it's first season on a high note, with an epic battle between the Redcoats and the Patriots that finally brought most of the show's characters together to the same place at the same time. But it was the episode's shocking last sequence that ensured TURN went out with a bang.
Mary confronted Abe over his spy book, which led to an argument and then sex. Abe may be stepping out with Anna, but his marriage may not be as dead as it once seemed. Mary was outraged at his behavior but eager to keep him close. And when Selah showed up as part of the raiding party, it seemed like maybe things were going to resolve themselves with Anna going back to her husband. But luckily for us, it didn't turn out that way (sorry Mary).
