Ubisoft has announced Shape Up, an exercise-focused title coming exclusively to Xbox One in November.
The Kinect-based title, which hopes gamers will become more interested in exercise if there are points to be scored and victories to be won, will feature a range of challenges, only two of which we saw today.
First is Piano Step, a rhythm-based game where you have to step in time to the beat. This was followed by another minigame that saw two competitors perform press-ups, with the objects on their backs getting bigger the more they did, starting with chickens and ending at whales.
Other game modes mentioned but not seen involved running on the roof of a train and punching criminals. It's an interesting premise considering we've not heard much about Kinect so far today. We'll likely try Shape Up out later this week and will be sure to report back with our findings.
