Following the development of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, the leadership at PlayStation-exclusive developer Naughty Dog decided to split its studio into two teams. The teams are fluid, and they often go back and forth between projects as needed, but this allowed Sony’s most important studio to work on two projects concurrently. This structure gave us the fantastic Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception in 2011, and arguably PlayStation 3’s best game, The Last of Us, in 2013.
