Considering that Warren Ellis and Declan Shalvey's Moon Knight has been consistently among the best of Marvel's All-New Marvel NOW lineup, we were disappointed to learn that the duo will be wrapping up their run as of August's Moon Knight #6. Perhaps it's not surprising given that Ellis rarely tackles more than 6-12 issues of any Marvel project, but disappointing nonetheless.
The good news is that the series will continue on without Ellis and Shalvey. Marvel announced today that writer Brian Wood (X-Men, The Massive) and artist Greg Smallwood (Dream Thief) will take over Moon Knight in September. Colorist Jordie Bellaire will remain on board, ensuring that the book will retain some of its old visual flavor.
