Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, the sequel to the original rhythm music game released on 3DS and iOS in 2012, adds an enormous amount of nostalgic content to the mix, in addition to a few new gameplay features.
Curtain Call is the final Theatrhythm title, according to producer Ichiro Hazama. It uses the same gameplay as was featured in the original Theatrhythm, in which players navigate through various songs from Final Fantasy's incredible 26-year history. 221 songs are included this time around, along with 60 adorable miniature versions of iconic characters. I wasn't able to change my characters around in the demo, but once again you'll form parties of four, and I noticed they were using spells like Haste and Cura as I hit specific notes and ran low on health.
