Sometimes a good story starts in the wrong place. The White Suits #1 by writer Frank Barbiere and artist Toby Cypress arguably suffers from just that ailment. The premise behind the book is a scintillating one: a group of sartorially consistent individuals terrorize Russia's criminal underworld only to disappear without a trace. When they resurface, they bring with them more questions than answers. While all of that is well and good, White Suits #1 reads more like a first draft than a well-considered first issue.
