You might think moving Frank Castle to Los Angeles was a ploy to get him away from the trappings of the Marvel Universe. Very few heroes and villains call the west coast their home, so it would be easy to have the Punisher just battle regular, everyday criminals without the threats of super powered freaks and monsters. You might think that, but you'd be wrong. This series, like the last few volumes, is set squarely in the Marvel U. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it doesn't help distinguish this book from what came before. In fact, despite the new location, this Punisher comic feels like business as usual.
