2014 MVP Named in Puppy Bowl X

Ginger, a 12-week old Old English Sheepdog mix playing in her rookie year in the prestigious Puppy Bowl, has been officially named the Puppy Bowl X MVP. Proudly representing her home state of Ohio, this two-tone troublemaker tore up the field as part of the 2014 Starting Line-Up at this year's Puppy Bowl.


Ginger was not the highest-scoring hound on the field this day, and her scruffy mug didn't exactly light up the Cute Cam at at Animal Planet Stadium in Silver Springs, Maryland. When it came to sneaky tricks and dogged defense, however, this Sheepdog left those other mutts feeling sheepish with foul-yet-fair plays that sent the others to lick their wounds while Ginger asserted her dominance on the field. Ginger chewed through the rule-book and racked up penalties (including illegal bathing, unnecessary nuttiness, and the first ever terrorizing the ref call in Puppy Bowl history,) but as we always say, even the dirtiest paws wash clean if you win in the end, and instead of being muzzled and chained down, this pooch put points on the board. Nobody -- not even the ref -- could sniff out her strategy until she had scraped her way to victory and became the tenth recipient of the coveted Most Valuable Puppy award .
