Moon Knight has seen some ups and downs in recent years. The character returned to the spotlight shortly after Marvel's Civil War event thanks to a new series from rime novelist Charlie Huston and artist David Finch. Since then, Moon Knight has featured in several short-lived relaunches and served as a member of the Secret Avengers for a couple years. But other than a brief appearance in Age of Ultron earlier this year, all has been quiet on the Moon Knight front lately.
Luckily, this dark avenger is being given another shot as part of All-New Marvel NOW. Today Marvel announced that Moon Knight will be starring in a new solo series in March 2014. The real news, however, is that the book will be written by Warren Ellis. Ellis' brief tenure on Secret Avengers left us craving more of his take on Moon Knight, and now that craving will finally be satisfied. Ellis will be joined by artist Declan Shalvey and colorist Jordie Bellaire.
