Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow…
*There were two episodes of Parks and Recreation on tonight. I'll have the review for the second episode, "Recall Vote," up tomorrow.*
Parks is back! Yesssss.
And not only just back, but filled with early 90s references, roller skate fetishes, giant teddy bear theft, Ron raging against a Big Buck HD game, and some Andy Dwyer dumpster diving.
Back when Leslie made the bold move to save Eagleton's hide by incorporating them back into Pawnee, I assumed that she'd have a bunch of new Eagletonian fans. And so did Leslie. And while Leslie filibustered for the rights of former Eagleton denizens to vote, she came to learn - sadly - that she didn't have their votes after all. But, in an awesomely inspiring move, Leslie filibustered on. Because voting rights were worth protecting even if those votes weren't going into her tank.
