People spend a lot of time looking at smartphones and signs to find their way from point A to point B. But what if you could just look down at the carpet under your feet and see illuminated directions, like an objective marker in a game? Philips and carpet-manufacturer Desso have teamed up to make LED flooring a reality.
According to a press release, the two companies are partnering to create light-transmitting carpet--smart flooring capable of displaying all kinds of information.
