Among the features in the PlayStation 4's controller, the DualShock 4, is the light bar positioned along the top. Transistor, the new game from Bastion developer Supergiant Games, is among the games to make use of it, as detailed in a new PlayStation Blog post.
In Transistor, players assume the role of Red, a woman who wields a mysterious weapon that talks to her from time to time. After seeing that some people were confused as to whom or what the voice belonged to, Supergiant introduced some changes, including having the weapon -- the eponymous Transistor -- flash in sync with its voice. For the PlayStation 4 version of Transistor, Supergiant saw an opportunity to make use of the DualShock 4's always-on light bar.
