Jensen is the protagonist of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. His DNA holds the secrets to safe augmentation, making him a pivotal character in the Deus Ex universe.
In Human Revolution, augmented people require doses of Neuropozyne – a drug that essentially stops the body from rejecting mechanical upgrades. Jensen’s body adapts to the technology on its own. Experimental testing on him during childhood created the tolerance in the first place.
