Another summer week, another Mega Man game. This time, it's Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge, a lackluster spinoff of the Battle Network series on Game Boy Advance. Don't worry, there's also a better Virtual Console game, Double Dragon II, out this week, in addition to a bunch of new games and sales. My recommendation is to go get Scram Kitty and His Buddy on Rails on Wii U eShop for 50% off. That game is fantastic. Or just bide your time until Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney in two weeks.
Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge ($7.99)
A spinoff of a spinoff, Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge is a Game Boy Advance game from 2004 where you compete in a tournament to try to win an amazing Battle Chip. It changes up the Battle Network formula, though, as you don't directly control your player. At the time of the original release, IGN called it one of the worst games to bear the Mega Man name. So, um, maybe avoid it.
