The Elder Scrolls Online will receive its first major patch, set to add the MMO's first adventure zone of Craglorn, later this week.
Developer Zenimax told IGN that the targeted release is this Thursday or Friday, with testing coming to a close.
We recently got the chance to sit down with the creative director of The Elder Scrolls Online, Paul Sage, to ask about future plans for updates. Before launch, Zenimax expressed a hope to release fresh content every four to six weeks and, with Craglorn set to arrive imminently at the tail-end of the sixth week following launch, it seems things are just about on track.
"I think we’re still at the tail-end of six weeks, I could be wrong there, it’s all a blur! But we’re either in the sixth week or the seventh with this update and I believe our next update is fairly on schedule," he said. "When we released we talked about our plans rather than 'this is exactly what it’s going to be' – we’re generally pretty careful about the language.
