Another Free Comic Book Day has come and gone, but was it a success? The event is put on by Diamond Comic Distributors in order to get the word out on comics. They want to get lapsed readers back into the habit, show current readers what comics are hot, and put comics into the hands of the next generation of readers.
But how do you gauge if it was a success? If a rise in statistics across the board indicates anything, it’s that awareness of the event is getting out there. Lets take a look:
