A big Jurassic World leak popped up a couple of weeks ago, and now director Colin Trevorrow is addressing the rumors as well as plot details for the upcoming Universal film.
Speaking with SlashFilm, Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) called the leaked spoilers "discouraging for everyone on our crew." The filmmaker explained that while they don't want to hide anything from fans necessarily, they want to surprise audiences at the theater come next year.
Trevorrow also confirmed that the rumors are legitimate, elaborating on the setting for the film. "Jurassic World takes place in a fully functional park on Isla Nublar," he said, referring to the island from the original film. "It sees more than 20,000 visitors every day. ... It has elements of a biological preserve, a safari, a zoo, and a theme park. There is a luxury resort with hotels, restaurants, nightlife and a golf course. And there are dinosaurs."
