A Watch Dogs publicity stunt in Australia led to the bomb squad being called to investigate a suspicious package.
Mumbrella reports that it started when a black safe was delivered to the offices of Ninemsn. The package also included a letter instructing the reporter there to "check your voicemail," but the reporter did not have a voicemail to use. Instead, office staff tried to enter a pin taped to the top of the safe, and it began to beep, leading to fears that it could be an explosive.
Staff was sent home and the bomb squad opened the box in the basement of the building. Inside, officers found a copy of Watch Dogs, a baseball cap, and a beanie.
