Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow...
With "The Take," the first season of Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk Till Dawn series closed out its story with muddled carnage and the usual strange mix of sinew and sentiment. Perhaps left for a larger seasonal discussion is whether or not the show was ever able to elevate itself of the original source material in any meaningful way, but for now things closed out, well, adequately. The brothers parted ways, with Richie getting to survive as a snake-vamp in this incarnation of the story. Jacob wasn't as lucky though, suffering a similar fate to his movie counterpart - though this time it was his own son Scott who infected him with venom.
