Yes, we're getting a double-dose of Louie every Monday night during its Season 4 run, and the follow-up to "Back" was insanely great. "Model" was lovely, weird, and perversely dark in ways that only Louie can evenly distribute. The enticing Yvonne Strahovski -- on the same night she debuted as a new regular on 24's return -- guest starred in this one as a possibly unstable model who took an immediate liking to Louie after he brutally bombed at a Hamptons charity gig hosted by Jerry Seinfeld.
I wrote "unstable," because I'm looking for some way to explain her instant, unapologetic attraction to Louie. Who, in all honesty, did nothing to be even remotely charming. Just a hot mess of "ums," "ers," and confusion. And I wrote "possibly" because we never really found out what her deal was. Because before anything could come to light, Louie accidentally clocked her in the face and sent her to the hospital. Sure, we expected the other shoe to drop at some point as Louie was having a sort of crazy "Dear, Penthouse" moment, but I don't think any of us anticipated it getting so unsettlingly violent.
