The CW’s digital-only studio CW Seed has announced its summer lineup. In addition to four returning shows, the online platform will add new mini webisodes of Whose Line is It Anyway? and a meta spinoff derived from Veronica Mars.
Whose Line Is It Minis are described as “special mini-episodes of the hit improv comedy CW Network series Whose Line is It Anyway?, starring Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles, and hosted by Aisha Tyler”.
Ryan Hansen (Party Down), stars as himself in Play it Again, Dick “as he begs, cajoles, and pleads with his former Veronica Mars castmates and friends to help him get his character, Dick Casablancas, his own spin-off show.” The show is co-written by Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas and will feature appearances from other series alums.
