When I visited the set of X-Men: Days of Future Past last summer, I knew I had one question for director Bryan Singer that I definitely had to ask: Since Days is a time travel story, does that mean that continuity from the previous films can be altered and rebooted so that characters’ fates can be changed and perhaps some can even return to life for future installments? And he sort of answered me… sort of.
“It could possibly. I don’t want to give that away.”
In other words, wait and see! Fair enough, I guess. But Singer did elaborate a bit on how he is approaching continuity overall with Days of Future Past.
