The X-Files Conspiracy is absolutely ridiculous, and if this issue is any indication, it’s also a bit hard to resist. Ed Brisson takes over story duties, as he leads the Lone Gunman on their quest to stop a virus from destroying the world. This issue was goofy fun that, fortunately, doesn’t take itself too seriously. Fans of X-Files will get plenty of self-deprecating humor, while TMNT fans will get, well, a very unexpected side quest.
