The problem with a lot of Terminator comics is that writers seem to find it difficult to escape the iconic tropes of the films. Terminator: Enemy of My Enemy #1 is certainly no exception. The premise of this series is pretty darned simple - one year after the events of the original Terminator, Skynet sends another T-800 back in time to kill one of its enemies. Before long, readers are treated to the usual crop of scenes involving monolithic Terminators stealing clothes from hapless bikers and performing makeshift surgery in dank motel rooms. There's also the typical conflict involving a lone warrior racing against the Terminator to track down their mutual human target. Having raised these exact same complaints against Terminator Salvation: The Final Battle #1 a couple months ago, I'm getting a weird sense of deja vu.
