In its first 90 days on the market, PlayStation 4 has sold a staggering 5.3 million units. Though it was expected that PS4 would prove successful – at least out of the gate – its historic sales have even shocked Sony itself.
According to MCV, sales this high were so unexpected to Sony that it expects the console will continue to be difficult to find, at least for the next couple of months. PlayStation UK executive Fergal Gara told the website that April is the likely month PS4s will be easier to find in stores.
