From the first page of Red Sonja #7, you know you're in for a wild ride. Writer Gail Simone treats Sonja's internal narration as a sort of mission statement for the issue: the She-Devil with a Sword is wandering around a swamp, hungry, horny, and mad as hell. Happens to the best of us. What follows is a relatively light romp (at least compared to the heavy story arc that preceded it) that shows off the series' funny side while still allowing Sonja to fight the good fight.
