Harbinger #21 Review

STK630175 The stakes keep getting higher in this series. The Renegades keep pushing Harada further and further, and his attempts to contain them have failed spectacularly. It seems like an all-out war is on the horizon, which is not a bad thing for us readers. Even when this book slows down to catch its breath, that threat of war and chaos seems so damn close. It's gonna end very baldy for somebody, the only question is who?


Joshua Dysart uses this issue to focus on the Renegades and their plans. They are putting together tactics for knocking Harada out of the game, even though it seems nearly impossible. Of course, since they are teenagers, they are also getting drunk and having sex, which is to be expected. It's what teenagers do, right? The sex scene is pretty awkward, which is probably the point, but it seems a little out of character for Faith. It was a little shocking. We'll have to see how things play out from here, but there's most likely less sex and more death on the horizon.
