Deaf Japanese Composer Admits He's Not Quite Deaf

Mamoru Samuragochi, the acclaimed deaf composer credited for the scores of Resident Evil Director's Cut and Onimusha: Warlords who recently admitted a ghost composer had been writing his music for nearly two decades, has also admitted he isn’t entirely deaf anymore, either.


In a handwritten statement, as reported by The New York Times, Samuragochi concedes he regained a degree of hearing three years ago and apologised for failing to inform his fans.
