One of the bigger announcements with the last round of Marvel solicitations was the confirmation that Superior Spider-Man is ending in April and making way for a relaunched Amazing Spider-Man. Peter Parker will be back in his own body and in control of his life again, assuming Otto Octavius leaves him much of a life at all.
But as it turns out, the new series isn't Slott's only Spider-Man-related project this spring. He and artist Ramon Perez also be handling a spinoff mini-series of sorts that unfolds in Amazing Spider-Man #1.1-1.5. Subtitled "Year One: Learning to Crawl," these issues flash back to the first 60 days of Peter's superhero career. Like any good Year One story, there will be familiar events explored, but also a lot of new and unseen material that casts Peter's world in a new light.
