Arrow has been the CW’s highest-rated show, making their upcoming The Flash spin-off series a no-brainer. As expected, the CW has decided to renew Arrow for a third season.
Deadline reports that the CW has given early renewals to the aforementioned Arrow, as well as The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and new shows The Originals and Reign.
Supernatural has been getting its highest ratings since 2010, and is currently in its ninth season. Already confirmed for a tenth season, the series will join Smallville as the second longest-running series on the CW, behind 7th Heaven (which had eleven seasons).
