An advance screening was planned for the Veronica Mars movie on March 13, as a “thank you” to the fans that helped fund the movie on Kickstarter. Well, those tickets sold out within hours, so AMC added more advance screenings.
According to The Wrap, tickets for the advance screening sold out hours after they went on sale at 9am on Thursday. The March 13 screenings are in 17 major markets, one day in advance of the full theatrical run.
The $2 million Kickstarter goal was met for Veronica Mars the same day that creator Rob Thomas and star Kristen Bell launched the campaign.
