This Sunday, November 17th, FOX will take us thirty five years into the future with its new J.J. Abrams sci-fi/buddy cop action series Almost Human, starring Karl Urban, Michael Ealy, Lili Taylor, and Minka Kelley.

The very next night - Monday the 18th - Almost Human will air its second episode, and then continue airing on Mondays going forward. The series, set in a future world where LA cops are required to work with lifelike android partners, revolves around Detective John Krennex (Urban), a lone wolf-type with legitimate reasons for resenting the new cyber-police force. Due to his gruff rebuffing of department policies, Krennex is paired up with Dorian (Ealy), an outdated model of android previously decommissioned due to its unsettling capacity for human emotion.
