Filmmaker Spike Jonze's new futuristic film Her features Joaquin Phoenix as a guy who falls in love with his computer (which is voiced by Scarlett Johansson, so who can blame him). Our critic Matt Patches gave the movie a 9.2 out of 10, and it has been very well received so far (it will be released next month). Her also reportedly features some flirtations with video games within its hi-tech world which, as it turns out, is a medium that is very much of interest to Jonze.
Badass Digest attended a Q&A with the director this week where Jonze was asked about his interest in games. The filmmaker responded that he’s actually been talking about making his own video games with producer Megan Ellison.
