What’s a good hero without their villain? Such is the case for Nikita, who has faced the increasingly dangerous and unstable Amanda for all four seasons, with the character truly rising up as the enemy to beat last year, in the wake of Percy’s demise.
On my visit to the set of Nikita in September, I spoke to Melinda Clarke about the fourth and final season -- debuting next week -- and what to expect as Nikita and Amanda’s conflict builds to its conclusion.
IGN TV: As fan of this show, I would love to see more episodes, but I’m also so happy you get a true ending, because a lot of shows don’t.
Melinda Clarke: That’s a gift. It’s a real gift. Yeah, it’s a real shame when shows don’t get to end or they get cancelled before they end, especially for fans. With a show like this, you know, our ratings weren’t huge in the states, but we have such loyal fans, such amazing fans. I had already moved on, I was told essentially that Amanda was going to die
