It was much ado about The Hobbit today, as Peter Jackson and the cast of the Lord of the Rings prequel(s) took part in a livestream event (watch it here) to get everyone psyched up for the upcoming The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. New footage also debuted, some of which you can see here:
New character posters also debuted, as did a new video blog from Jackson. Yep, it's definitely Hobbit day...
