Based on how many people read my Americans reviews each week, this is still a sadly overlooked series amongst much of the IGN community. So before I get into the spoilery portion, I’ll just say, for anyone randomly glancing at this article… Come on, people! This is a really terrific, involving series that deftly blends a strong character drama with a spy story dynamic and has a ton elements that make it well worth your time. Catch up! You’ve got plenty of time until Season 3!

Coming out of a strong first season, The Americans hit the ground running in Season 2. With the Jennings’ having moved back in together, the couple were, overall, in a better place – but their life as KGB spies would quickly give them plenty of new issues to deal with, both inside and outside the home.
