Graphic Novel Review: X-Men - No More Humans

As hard as it may be to believe, X-Men: No More Humans is the first original graphic novel to feature the merry mutants since the 982 classic God Loves, Man Kills. That’s as sure a sign as anything that Marvel hasn’t given the OGN format the attention it deserves. But they’re finally rectifying that with their new line of graphic novels, of which No More Humans is the third.


The premise of this book is pretty simple as far as X-Men storylines go. The X-Men wake up one morning to discover that every human on Earth has mysteriously disappeared. Some, like Wolverine and his team, are understandably concerned. Others, like Magneto, are pretty happy about this latest turn of events. But as the rival factions of X-Men uncover the source of the mass disappearance, they’re forced to work together to restore the the world to its normal status quo. Or, failing that, at least build a new society on the ashes of the old.
