Did Almost Human Conflict Contribute to FOX Chairman's Exit?

Kevin Reilly stepping down today as the Entertainment Chairman of the FOX Broadcasting Company sent more than a few reverberations through the industry.


Reilly, who's been with FOX since 2007, had recently given voice to FOX's course to abolish traditional TV seasons as a methodology for developing and scheduling new TV shows and to abandon the usual "pilot season" in place of year-round scheduling and development. It was an ambitious plan, but the actual cause for Reilly's relinquishment of his position is still mostly unknown.


Reilly himself thanked his friends and colleagues in a statement, writing "I couldn't be more thankful to my team – a group of creative, tireless and fun people whose fellowship I will miss."
