Adam Sandler’s video game-themed comedy Pixels will open against Mad Max: Fury Road on May 15, 2015. Pixels previously carried an unspecified summer 2015 release date.
Pixels is directed by Chris Columbus and stars Sandler, Kevin James, Peter Dinklage, Josh Gad and Michelle Monaghan. Based on a short film, the sci-fi adventure comedy depicts an alien invasion in the form of video game characters come to life.
Mad Max: Fury Road, the long awaited reboot of the legendary Australian action franchise, finally settled on a May 15, 2015 release after nearly three years of production. It’s directed by George Miller and stars Tom Hardy as Max. Nicholas Hoult and Charlize Theron also star.
