As revealed earlier this morning, the cast of director J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII now include John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow, as well as the saga's original stars, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.
Even in the few short hours since the announcement was made, some fans have pointed out that the new cast is largely male-centic. As of right now, Ridley is the only new female cast member to join the film... but that may soon change.
