Dust off those old T-Bird and Pink Lady jackets -- the students of Rydell High are enrolling at FOX with Grease Live, a televised, three-hour production of the iconic musical.
Scheduled to air in 2015 and featuring a young ensemble cast (TBA), Grease Live will reintroduce Danny Zuko, Rizzo, Sandy and the rest of the Rydell crew to a new generation of viewers. While Grease started out as a Broadway musical in 1971, most folks will probably remember the 1978 movie adaptation starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. Earning almost $400 million worldwide at the time of release, Grease remains the highest-grossing musical movie of all time.
