Marvel Comics' C2E2 panel had a lot of exciting announcements -- which we covered here -- but they waited until the end to show a glimpse of things to come, not unlike a post-credit scene from one of their movies:
As you can see from the shot snapped by the folks over at Newsarama, the Avengers "A" and the X-Men "X" are part of the word "axis," implying it will star both teams. Could this be a follow-up to 2012's Avengers vs. X-Men event? Or something else entirely? Curiously, the "I" wasn't stylized to represent the Inhumans. Given Marvel's huge push to make them to next big thing, it would be easy to raise the Inhuman's profile by involving them in an event with their two biggest franchises, but clearly that's not the plan here.
