Between the way it was quietly snuck into Marvel's solicitations and its simplistic title, you could be forgiven for not even realizing that Survive #1 exists and acts as a one-shot epilogue to Cataclysm. This issue serves the same purpose as Requiem for Ultimatum and Ultimate Fallout for The Death of Spider-Man. Cataclysm could certainly use a bit more focus on the fallout of Galactus' attack, but this one, meager issue is never able to reach the emotional heights of those aforementioned books.
