Splinter Cell: Blacklist Director Goes to WB Montreal

Patrick Redding, director of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist, has left Ubisoft Toronto for Warner Bros. Montreal.


The job change is listed on Redding's LinkedIn profile (spotted by Kotaku columnist and Internet sleuth Superannuation), where the game designer notes that he was working on an unannounced title for Ubisoft Toronto before leaving this month for Warner Bros. Montreal. Redding is the creative director of an unannounced title at his new job.


Before serving as director for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Redding directed Splinter Cell: Conviction and worked on the Far Cry franchise. He spent close to 10 years at Ubisoft, employed at Ubisoft Montreal before going to Ubisoft Toronto.
