Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has today announced the launch of Foxtel Play on PS3, and confirmed the service will also be coming to PS4 soon.
Foxtel Play is a streaming service that allows customers to consume Foxtel content via devices like selected LG and Samsung ‘Smart TVs’ and gaming consoles like Xbox 360 (and now PS3).
“We’re thrilled to continue our drive to expand availability of Foxtel Play for Australian subscribers,” said Foxtel’s chief operating officer Rohan Lund in a statement. “With the addition of PS3, that expansion just got a massive boost for the 2 million Australians already enjoying great digital experiences on their PlayStation 3 consoles. Today that experience gets even better.”
