Red Lanterns #29 Review

STK634414 Since Charles Soule began writing Red Lanterns, his focus has been on improvement. Soule has been working to strengthen the very foundations of this book. He has featured a Guy Gardner attempting to get his anger under control while simultaneously teaching the Red’s that they don’t have to live or act like monsters. We’ve seen Red Lantern “civilization” fundamentally change and grow throughout Soule’s run so far, and issue #29 reveals that we may start to see the same kind of growth with Supergirl. This promise is delivered in a fast-paced, but organic manner that interestingly highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the main players involved.
