Hey guys, Eric and Matt (yep, that guy again!) here with a new episode of Channel Surfing, as we prepare for an onslaught of cancellations, renewals and new series orders in the days ahead, going into Upfronts next week.
On that subject, FOX have officially picked up Gotham and we discuss the footage from the series. Then we move onto Halo, and the news that Xbox are partnering with Showtime for the Spielberg-produced series, rather then keep it an Xbox exclusive. We also chat about Michael McKean joining Better Call Saul, A&E ordering an American version of The Returned, FOX planning a live Grease broadcast and Syfy’s ambitious new development slate.
Then we move into a discussion about Louie, and why the FX series, returning after a two-year break, is so terrific. Lastly, we wrap things up with a reader email about Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD and how an episode may have tied into the Marvel movies.
