This issue carries an editor's note stating that it takes place after the events of Original Sin #2. Why Marvel couldn't have held this back a week until Original Sin #2 is actually released is a mystery. But it's a moot question in the end. This arc sees Jonathan Hickman delve into a story he very clearly was building towards regardless of any outside events or crossovers. Captain America has finally realized his mind was wiped by the Illuminati. And now there's hell for Iron Man to pay.
